Social Media and Blogging sometimes just doesn’t feel quite right!! Do you ever feel that?
I’ve never really felt comfortable with a lot of it….There’s something superficial, inauthentic and soulless about much of it that leaves me troubled. It can be a wonderful way to make meaningful connections though, and I’ve made several 💙 . It’s also a means of spreading beauty, peace and love; sharing creativity and thoughts…which is what I try to do.
I’m taking some time out for a while to ponder my relationship with it all 🙂 . I’m genuinely, sincerely grateful to everyone who supports and follows my creative outpourings, and connects with me along the way.. Thank You..Mairi 💙
“It’s dark because you are trying too hard.
Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly.
Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply.
Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them."
- Aldous Huxley

I love these words by Aldous Huxley. Beautiful, profound truths are often easy to resonate with, but not so easy to apply. Feeling lightly when you’re feeling deeply can be very challenging. I especially find this with anger, which for me is the most toxic of emotions…it always leaves me feeling as though I’ve violated my soul, and polluted the Universe.
There is much to feel angry about these days in this troubled and sometimes cruel World. I often have to take myself to a place of surrender…to accept my smallness within the vastness…to go inwards and reconnect with love…the most powerful power I have..Mairi💙
These beautiful words by T.S. Eliot always speak directly to my soul, and bring me peace when I’m feeling unsure of my path… or falling into despair. 💙
I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope
For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love,
For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faith
But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.
Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought:
So the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.
